Privacy policy
This policy describes how Autocomplex RS handles information in Mechanic Logger, including its optional Google Calendar connection.
Workshop information
The application stores information entered by authorized users: customer names and contact details, vehicle details, repair records, prices, invoices, photos and appointment notes. This information supports workshop administration and appointment planning. Administrators manage user access. Public share links provide access to the visit information shared through that link; anyone holding the link can view it until access is revoked.
Google account data and Calendar access
When an administrator connects a Google account with its owner’s permission, the application retrieves its verified email address and Google account identifier. It stores these identifiers, an encrypted refresh credential, and calendar/event identifiers to maintain the connection. It manages only calendars created by this application. It does not import unrelated calendars or read Gmail messages.
Synchronization sends Google the appointment title, date, start/end times, linked customer name, vehicle labels and appointment notes. These become events in the dedicated calendar and are visible according to that calendar’s Google sharing settings. Changes made directly in Google Calendar are not imported into Mechanic Logger. Google processes the transmitted data under its own policies.
Google account data is used to identify connected accounts and synchronize workshop appointments. It is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train general-purpose AI models. Use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Retention and removal
Workshop records have no fixed retention period. They are retained for the business’s ongoing needs until removed by an authorized administrator or following an agreed deletion request. Contact Autocomplex RS to request access, correction or deletion. Backup copies may remain until the operator removes or replaces those backups. Some records, including photos, may be removed earlier during maintenance.
An administrator can pause synchronization or remove a Google connection in Calendar settings. Successful removal deletes the dedicated Google calendar and its events, then the local credentials and synchronization mappings; workshop appointments remain. If removal fails, the connection is kept for retry. You can also revoke access in your Google Account settings; revoking access alone does not delete workshop records or calendar events already created.

Storage and essential browser data
Application records are stored on the application server. Google refresh credentials are encrypted at rest. Session cookies maintain authenticated access; browser local storage remembers preferences such as language and working position. Technical error diagnostics support maintenance. Authorized users should protect their passwords and share links.
